What's Included
More Than Draining and Refilling
A coach oil change is not a ten-minute quick-lube job. Diesel pushers hold three to five gallons of oil, use filters the size of a coffee can, and sit in service bays most shops can't physically accommodate. Doing it properly takes the right equipment, the right disposal setup, and enough headroom to actually get under the thing.
- Full oil drain and replacement to manufacturer capacity and viscosity spec
- New oil filter — and on diesels, fuel filter and water separator service when due
- Multi-point under-coach inspection while we're down there anyway
- Fluid level check across coolant, transmission, power steering and washer
- Belt and hose visual inspection
- Chassis lube points serviced on request
- Documented service record with date, mileage and products used
If we find something concerning while we're under there, we tell you and show you the photo. We don't quietly add it to the bill.

Oil Change FAQs
How often should I change my RV's oil?
Most manufacturers specify annually or every 3,000 to 15,000 miles depending on engine type — whichever comes first. Because RVs sit for months at a time, the calendar almost always arrives before the odometer. If your coach has been parked since last season, it's due.
Does oil really go bad just sitting there?
Yes. Oil absorbs moisture and combustion acids, and those don't evaporate while parked. On a diesel that sat all summer in Florida humidity, old oil is actively working against your bearings. Change it before the season, not after.
Can you service my generator at the same time?
Please do. Generator oil is the single most neglected fluid in the RV world, and bundling it with your engine service saves you a separate visit. See generator service.
