Preserving the Legacy of the Road.
Mechanic servicing the chassis and drivetrain of a Class A motorcoach on a heavy-duty lift

Service Category

Chassis & Drivetrain

Everything between your coach and the pavement.

Chassis lubrication, king pins, tires, exhaust, brakes and suspension upgrades — the systems that determine whether a 40-foot coach feels planted or terrifying at 65 mph.

Why It Matters

Your Coach Weighs as Much as a Fire Truck

A loaded Class A diesel pusher can run 30,000 to 50,000 pounds. Every one of those pounds passes through your king pins, your tires, your brakes and your suspension — usually while towing a vehicle, in Florida heat, at highway speed.

Most owners never think about chassis work until something goes audibly wrong. By then it's a tow bill, a ruined trip, and a repair three times what preventive service would have cost. Worse, tire and brake failures on a coach that size aren't inconveniences. They're emergencies.

We service the underside of your coach with the same seriousness a commercial fleet demands — because physically, that's what you're driving.

Straight Answers

Chassis FAQs

How often does a motorcoach chassis need lubrication?

Most manufacturers call for chassis lubrication annually or every 6,000 to 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. In Florida humidity and heat, annual service is the right call even for low-mileage coaches.

My tires still have plenty of tread — do I really need new ones?

Probably, yes. RV tires almost always age out before they wear out. Sidewall compounds degrade with UV, heat and sitting under load. Industry guidance is replacement at 5 to 7 years regardless of tread depth. We'll read your DOT date codes and give you a straight answer, not a scare tactic.

Are steering stabilizers actually worth it?

On a coach that wanders, they're one of the most transformative upgrades available — customers routinely describe it as a different vehicle. On a coach that already tracks well, they're less dramatic. We'll tell you which one you have before you spend the money.
