Longer Stops
Any increase in stopping distance, or a pedal that goes further than it used to.
Chassis & Drivetrain
Twenty tons deserves brakes you've actually verified.
Full brake system inspection and service for motorhome and towable braking systems — hydraulic, air, and trailer brake setups, including breakaway testing.
Why It Matters
A loaded coach towing a vehicle needs dramatically more room to stop than anything else you've ever driven — and unlike a car, you rarely find out your brakes are marginal until the moment you desperately need them not to be.
RV brakes also suffer a problem cars don't: sitting. Rotors surface-rust, calipers seize, air system components dry out, and fluid absorbs moisture in Florida humidity. A coach that sat for eight months may have brakes that worked fine last season and don't now.
We give you measurements, not vibes. You'll see how much life is actually left.
Warning Signs
Any increase in stopping distance, or a pedal that goes further than it used to.
Pulling to one side, grinding, squealing, or vibration through the pedal under braking.
On air brakes: pressure bleeding down overnight, or the compressor cycling more than it used to.
What Owners Say
★★★★★
"Mike showed me the worn components side by side with new ones. No pressure, just facts. I understood exactly what I was paying for."
Andre D.
★★★★★
"Air brake system on a diesel pusher — most shops around here won't touch it. Legacy handled it like routine work."
Ron T.
★★★★★
"Stopping a 30,000 pound coach is not something to gamble on. These people take it as seriously as I do."
Jim C.
★★★★★
"Inspected everything, measured the pads and said I had another season. Didn't sell me a brake job I didn't need."
