Does salt air really matter if I rinse my coach?
Rinsing helps and you should keep doing it. But salt works into seams, undercarriage crevices and sealant joints where a hose never reaches. That's why a sealed roof and a coated finish matter more here than anywhere else in our area.
How often should a coastal coach be inspected?
Annually at minimum. We pay particular attention to undercarriage corrosion, fastener condition and sealant integrity on Pinellas coaches — issues that show up years earlier here than inland.
Is ceramic coating worth it if my coach is older?
Often more worth it, because there's existing oxidation to reverse first. We correct the paint, then coat it — and owners are consistently shocked at how much finish was still recoverable.
